The Islamic Society of Akron and Kent (ISAK) Sunday School is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual (Female or Male) to serve as the School Administrator for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. This key administrative role supports the efficient operation of our Sunday School and plays a vital part in creating a smooth and organized educational environment for our students, families, and staff.

📅 Position Duration: July 2025 – May 2026
💼 Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
📍 Location: ISAK, 152 E Steels Corners Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH
🕐 Time Commitment: Primarily Sundays during school hours, with occasional weekday planning and communication

📝 Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main administrative contact for Sunday School operations
• Manage student enrollment, records, attendance, and communication
• Assist teachers and staff with classroom logistics and resource distribution
• Coordinate parent communications, newsletters, and updates
• Organize key school events such as registration, graduation, and assemblies
• Maintain and order school supplies, and oversee inventory
• Support class scheduling, student placement, and staffing assignments
• Compile and submit reports to the Sunday School Principal and Board as needed

✅ Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and basic computer software
• Fast and accurate typing skills; experience with digital forms and data entry
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus (e.g., Arabic, Swahili, Turkish, Urdu, Uzbek, … etc.)
• Familiarity with schools information systems such as RosarioSIS (preferred, not required)
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for Islamic education and community service
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows
