16th Annual AAIC Hunger Walk

Join the Akron Area Interfaith Council (AAIC) and ISAK as we raise money for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank!
For the past 16 years, AAIC has organized a Hunger Walk to support the efforts of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. This year, we invite you to walk with us and support our broader community.
Recent statistics reveal a troubling rise in food insecurity in Summit County— 13.6% of residents and 20.3% of children are affected. Your support can help alleviate hunger and provide essential resources to those in need. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.
As Muslims, we are taught that giving is not just charity, it’s a form of ‘ibadah. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity”
(Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 604)
