DESCRIPTION:Assalamu Alaykum\, \nJoin the Akron Area Interfaith Council (AAIC) and ISAK as we raise money for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank! \nFor the past 16 years\, AAIC has organized a Hunger Walk to support the efforts of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. This year\, we invite you to walk with us and support our broader community. \nRecent statistics reveal a troubling rise in food insecurity in Summit County— 13.6% of residents and 20.3% of children are affected. Your support can help alleviate hunger and provide essential resources to those in need. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. \nAs Muslims\, we are taught that giving is not just charity\, it’s a form of ‘ibadah.
