As-salāmu ʿalaykum!
ISAK officially announces the following important dates:
Monday, June 19, 2023: First day of Dhul Hijjah.
Tuesday, June 27, 2023: Day of Arafah
Wednesday, June 28, 2023: Eid ul Adha
May Allah accept all our good deeds on these days, as these are the BEST Ten days of the year. We are advised to excel in fasting, ibadah, and charity in these days.
Ibn ‘Abbas RA narrates that the Prophet SAW said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The people asked, “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?” He said, “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight, giving himself and his wealth up for the cause and came back with nothing.” (Bukhari)
When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah, he said: “It expiates the sins (minor) of the past year and the coming year.” (Muslim)
